Nothing has changed. Just another forgettable sequel. Some may like it more or less than other sequels. But it's not like it does anything to get above the mean.

Xoomer here. Was there in 1993, watched in theather. First one was ahead of its time: really great CGi, "plausible" plot and Spielberg was doing interviews everywhere (open tv, magazines etc). Was a true blockbuster hit.

But the rest was just soulless cashgrab bait. Dinosaurs were really popular 30 years ago, forget them.

I was born in 90
Too young to see JP in theaters.
I did get to see The Lost World in Theaters and found it boring. I've since rewatched it and still find it lackluster.
The next one I saw in theaters was World 1 and I hated it.
Maybe third times the charm? lol.

Jurassic Park was the rare series where every single movie was worse than the 1 that came before it.
Is this still true?

True, they should swap out dinosaurs for unknowable alien mosters shaped vaguely like people.

Like Jaws it's basically a one movie franchise

Just accept it and move on

Why are you all still pretending that Lost World isn't a good movie? It's not as good as JP, but its not on the same level as the rest

>Glen Powell, who voiced Dave in the animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous (2020–2022), turned down a role.

Even the new astroturfed movie star turned it down.
It’s truly slop.

I think The Lost World is a good movie and I rewatch it regularly.
John Hammond's speech at the end is kino. so is everything Roland does/says

>I think [unnecessary and heavily flawed Jurrassic Park Sequel] is a good movie and I rewatch it regularly.
That's called a guilty pleasure, anon.
Some people also like Dead Man's Chest, or Beneath the Planet of the Apes, or the Star Wars Prequels.

3 was better than 2 but only because it didn't butcher any source material and it had time to thrown in stuff from the original book that didn't make it into the film, like the rafting and aviary.
