THREADLY REMINDER: Fonda's character did not introduce the knife into evidence. Jurors cannot introduce evidence. He simply reflected on his own personal experiences with the knife design during deliberation and drew a logical, rational conclusion based on those experiences. To deny him this ability is to deny him his birthright as a rational actor.

this was originally a tv teleplay back when tv did such things. You can watch it on youtube. The hollywood movie has better acting but one notable difference is that the Henry Fonda character was played by a different actor who was less pompous and self righteous. It seemed more like he was searching for the truth rather than pursuing an agenda to find the accused not guilty.
