Watch the 1979 remake, much better.
Even just the trip to the castle and the interactions with the people on the way there, everything is better choreographed, acted and superior in every way.
In the remake, Nosferatu has a typical modern tall pale monster design, looks nothing like Nosferatu, the movie has stupid sex scenes and sex-related plot, the silliest sequence in movie history where the chick sticks her tongue out, it's cringry and dissappointing.
Robert Eggers butchered it, boys.

Me and my wife watched the '79 version in a special screening about half year before the '24 remake came out, we both really enjoyed the '79 movie, we were both severly dissappointed with the new remake.

I dont know. It's completely forgettable.
It's a well made movie, but thats about the only thing that comes to mind. It's hardly scary, Skarsgård is okay as Orlok, everyone is fine.
It just lacks a vision, there is nothing that stands out about this film, where Coppolas Dracula is a fantastical, over the top spectacle with two tons of cheese on top, that one at least had alot of character, this is just a bland and drab recital in comparison. The 1979 version is still superior, that one is just an unerving fever dream of a movie.
