Are there any Israeli shows or movies that you would recommend? I have seen and enjoyed Munich, but that is an American film and the actors are not Israeli

A lot of Hollywood Jews are actually anti Zionists
Filmmaking is a Jewish medium, not an Israeli one

It’s funny, she’s attractive but you can tell she’s Jewish, just something “off” about her face

shtisel
srugim
low key romantic dramas about an ultra-orthodox family (shtisel) and modern-orthodox friend group (srugim). aside from just being well written and acted, part of what makes them compelling is that these are traditional people so the romance has real stakes. it's not like you can just hookup or date and break up. there is some real tension. also interesting just from an anthropological perspective, especially shtisel.

fauda is a great thriller but i dont really like thrillers anymore.
