I am here in support. It Follows is a genuine 1/10. It barely (and frequently doesn't) breaks the "suspension of disbelief" barrier, that even the sloppiest of slops can usually master. It looks like a video of boring kids fucking around and pretending to make a movie. It's so lazily slopped together that I doubt a single ounce of effort was put into it. I knew it was doomed the minute I saw that shell phone.

It Follows is a decent film without its dog shit opening scene that ends with bent leg girl. Way to take any tension out by being goofy as fuck.

Child's Play is another film that is ruined by its opening scene.
