Yeah.
Weirdest one is that game show that logged who was watching then came over to their house the following day and threatened them like yakuza.

Japanese tv is really fucking boring. 90% of it is just people eating. There's a tv show where it's just a guy going to a restaurant alone, looking at the restaurant, looking at the menu, ordering, and eating, all by himself, and that's it. It's very quiet, and he doesn't talk to the camera at all. And while he goes to real restaurants, it's not reality tv, he pretends to be a business man. The reality tv stuff is even worse. You've got Japanese people going to asparagus farms and eating asparagus and pretending like there's a difference because this green asparagus from this prefecture and this also green asparagus from 5 miles away.

The other 10% is youtube stuff that was popular 10 years ago, like "whats in the box" challenge and "$1 vs $100 _____."

That would explain the rise of mukB's coming from Asia. Parasocial relationships are a modern disease.

yep. the Western dub of the old Takeshi's Castle called "MXC" was terrible fun. Malcolm in the Middle, King of the Hill, South Park, and MXC were my all time favorites as a wee lad before I got my first Dell and discovered bittorrent

No, the entire country of Japan is just old and dying. Watching people eat asparagus and wax about the differences in taste due to soil and humidity sounds exactly like the kind of shit old people like to watch.
