That's how muscles work: the blood flow increases size. But the size increase is largeley negligible, and thise study proves that, even though I could poke holes in how outdated it is (30 years ago), and it's methodology. But the fact is, simply taking test does not exert your muscles or wear them out to gain permanent size. That's the real benefit of roids: you heal quicker so you can get back to working out again, so you can keep getting bigger. It's why guys on roids are able to work out 3 times a day.
4chan chudcels (not saying you specifically, but the liftlett mindset in general) have this fantasy that roiders get huge with minimal effort. The reality is guys on roids are working out harder and more intensely and are more dedicated to working out than anyone. I've never done roids myself, but I'm a gym rat who is neurotic about form and diet and I know roiders and guys who participate in body building competetions. Those guys all know their stuff and I've talked to them about it, and I've seen them in person and seen what roids do and don't do for a lifter.
I gaurantee that anyone complaining about not seeing results in the gym, if I could see their workout, they probably are not lifting heavy enough, or if they are lifting heavier weights, have horrible form. I see it at the gym all the time: guys half my size unironically lifting more weight than me, but their form is horrible. They're getting nothing out of their workouts. Their diets are also probably horrible too but that's a different matter. Weight training takes a ton of dedication, focus, and attention to detail or you won't see results. The fact of the matter is Corenswet's increase in size is absolutely attainable natty: He clearly started lifting heavier with good form at a major calorie surplus.
