>>212265040Hey, anon. Actual Private Security here.
For 8 years escorting poor bastards out of the main office of a billion-dollar, Fortune 500 company was my entire life. This shit happens so often that it might as well be on the job description for anyone looking into working Private Security.
It was the cushiest job I've ever had in 30 years of work and I still quit six months ago. It boils down to you waiting for the day when one of those people you walked out of the building walks back in fully armed, which already happened once before I was the ass in the seat at the Security desk.
I escorted people out of the building who had been workign there for longer than I'd be alive. If you're not economically viable or the shit is rolling down hill from the CTO's and CEO's above your head, you're next on the list to go. They even fired my own fucking boss with zero prior warning like a sniper going for a clean headshot. Didn't even know what hit him until they gave him that cardboard box.
I'm done working. I don't care if I'm fucking broke. It beats being treated like an ashtray and having to watch other people be treated the same. I'd rather be free than broken.
