Unironically, older millennial fag here, I can tell you that the marketing for the film was top tier shit. Disney really did think this was going to be the next big IP but the marketing doesn't actually give you an idea of what the movie actually is because it really falls apart in the first act. It has a solid ending though. At the time, the CGI was actually groundbreaking from a technical perspective, we didn't have a lot of 100 percent CGI films when this came out. The characters sucked, the plot was really fucking boring but the soundtrack slaps and that first teaser might be one of the best Disney teasers they ever made.
