Season 3 was peak for me. After that it just kinda flatlines into okay territory for pretty much rest of the show and by the end only character I still liked were male characters

It's good as long as you can buy the old "these 25 year olds are all high school students" thing that was common back then.
Also I hope you like love triangles and romance subplots, cos oh boy let me tell you there are a lot
The other thing is that it never really gets better, its pretty much constantly the same for seven seasons. consistent maybe, predicatble possibly

watch Angel too, it's even better. You're probably going to hate his character on buffy but he is actually an individual in the spin off
