When I was a little kid I had a dream that I was in some kind of slaughterhouse type environment. An underground series of stone passages and rooms with dirt floors I and many others were running through as we were hunted and killed. The earliest I remember was a time where I was very sick and laying on my couch in the summer heat, probably 22-23 years ago. I would fall asleep and a dream where I was going to burger king with my grandpa would start but the burger king was pure white and surrounded by a massive parking lot that stretched off into infinity. I would wake up and then fall back asleep and the dream would repeat. Every time I was walking up to the building or getting out of the car and the sun was pounding on the concrete. It was so trippy and weird and I knew the dream was repeating but I was basically stuck on the couch for hours barely able to move angry that I was stuck in this burger king purgatory.

It's just bullshit anon. It's just shit that happen by chance just as you're about to wake up and you become slightly aware that you're in a dream for like a couple of seconds before you wake up.

By nature, you cant be sleeping and dreaming and be conscious at the same time. I honestly think it's a bunch of people who confuse daydreaming as they're dozing off to sleep for actual dreaming. That's sort of the evidence right there.

When I was a kid I remember having these reoccurring dreams of rusted gears turning. Like the dream was just the gears and it was so unnerving and weird. Then as a teen I had a dream of going to hell which was a 2-d landscape of flames, like ps1 graphics kinda, full of abject terror and later of heaven which was just me floating to a place of white clouds and a light and a feeling of intense happiness of getting something I didn't feel I was worthy of. All three dreams happened in my grandma's old house.

I had one back in 5th grade. It was the song number "be our guest" from beauty and the beast, just every character in that scene was swapped out with my naked classmates and teachers.

It's just one of those "wut" moments you have when you wake up that even 20 years later, I still remember it vividly.

I have a folder with like 30 dreams I've written down right as I woke up. They dont make much sense to anyone but me, but it's an entertaining read for me at least.

I create stories in my head when I dream. Right now my story is about a normal guy with his gf who’s cheating on him with his loser brother. The kicker is the guy knows she’s cheating but he’s waiting for revenge because he wants to ask for help from a guy and his wife who have a corporation together and they seem like they’re dicks but they’re actually really nice and have a good family. Right now, that guy is going to try and ruin the brothers business venture so he can ask his little brother for help and money.
