I just came out of the theater, I don't know what to tell you.
The film cuts out 100% of the bullshit. No retarded love story. No world building. No setting up for sequels. No nostalgiabaiting.
It's a solid action film with great tension, good character beats, it's exactly what I want out of a summer movie.

There's a great scene near the end of the film where, due to the stress of the adventure, the dino attacks and so on, her clothes are all torn up and rotting off. So she's trying to cover herself up, but it's too late. I've seen everything.
