I went to ETHS, Evanston Township High School, the same high school Christopher Nolan went to in the north suburbs of Chicago. In freshman English, The Odyssey was the first thing they had us read. It's hard to believe that experience made such a lasting impact on his oeuvre. TDK was shot in Chicago, with shots of Wacker drive and Lasalle avenue, for the same reason.
