The second they had Finn literally blasting all his family and friends while going "WOOHOOO" despite brooding about the deaths of his comrades up to that point, was the moment I realized this film was going to be complete and total fucking garbage.
That was the second the sequel franchise fucking died.

Han: "HEY CHEWIE WE ARE ABOUT TO ENTER STARKILLER BASE, YOU SHOULD TAKE THE DETONATOR BECAUSE MY CHARACTER IS GOING TO DIE HERE".

For me, that was the scene that finally did it. I groaned in my seat. It was unnecessary to telegraph Han's death like that, Chewie could have been the one with the detonator all along. This is Basic Scriptwriting Mistakes 101.

It doesn't matter what Ford said, you don't need to fucking spoil the scene in the scene that comes RIGHT BEFORE. The movie has many other problems, worse ones, but nothing makes it so clear that JJ Abrams is a hack because this is such a basic amateur mistake.

He should never work in Hollywood again.

I just hate all the lazy low-effort dialogue. Like "Who talks first?" or Han using Chewie's gun that he's been using for decades and going "oohh I like this one"
