I've seen both in the theater, and as a huge Jurassic Park fan, I say go see F1. It was genuinely great and is a better movie than JW Rebirth.

I just watched F1 with a friend after hearing nothing but positive things from everyone I know amidst all the critical praise and breakout success. It lived up to the hype for me and is proof that Kosinski/Burckheimer are the last producer/director duo in Hollywood making unpretentious top-tier guy movies.
You should totally see it, preferably in Imax where it looks fantastic and 100% utilized the Imax camera properly.

It's unpretentious, easy on the eyes (the color theory is very strong in it like all Kosinskino), sincere, has a charming cast with good chemistry, and has arguably the best racing scenes of any film ever made.

The racing scenes are a good 60% percent of the movie and they are so well done. That shit was so engaging. Who cares if the rest of the movie is just fine (not even bad by any means)

I feel like quality trailers are increasingly a lost art form. They all now either look generic or give everything away, while F1 was a rare exception.
