I was prevented from exiting the film yes, but my intention was to remove myself from the film due to my discouragement. I could not literally leave the cinema due to my lack of transportation pre-online transport services. The sentiment is still the same had I had the opportunity to leave the premises the action would have been taken

โ€œI would haveโ€ is hardly the same as โ€œI didโ€ and you should know this. Youโ€™re the kind of guy that says shit like โ€œI would have hit himโ€ when we all know you wouldnโ€™t do Jack shit. Itโ€™s honestly really sad to see that people like you exist. Youโ€™ll sit there trying to argue with anon that โ€œI-I-I-I had the intention to leave I-I-I j-j-just c-c-couldnโ€™t! Itโ€™s the same thing!โ€ and Iโ€™m sure in your mind you genuinely believe this to be the truth and a rationale argument. Is it just that your fragile ego cannot handle being wrong even to anonymous posters online or is it more that you lack the ability to think critically? Likely both because stupid people and unwavering pride in ignorance often go hand in hand. What is honestly wrong with you?

Cop Land and one of the Johnny Depp pirate movies (second or third one). Cop Land might be good and I was just young and not interested in it. The pirate movie I had been drinking and I simply could not entertain that level of slop.

I donโ€™t see them in theater but I simply cannot finish a modern James Bond movies (after Goldeneye). I find the plots so convoluted and boring.

i went to see some dumb horror movie with a grill and she was super scared the whole time, so much so that it kinda made me scared, whereas normally i'd laugh at a modern horror movie because they're dumb and not scary. anyway, towards the end of the movie a bunch of nigs walked into the theater, likely just catching the end after seeing whatever tyler perry movie was playing. she saw them come in and got so scared that she said we had to leave. the guy had recently shot up that theater in colorado so she said it just freaked her out, but she was from texas and even though she'd never admit it she was definitely scared because the people who came in were black niggers, which was hot.
we banged afterwards, but she made me wear a condom. she always made me wear a condom. bitch

Bringing Out the Dead I swore the next classic rock song or whatever I'm leaving. I didn't realize it was specifically Van Morrison pissing me off but still. I also knew it was adapted from a novel by a paramedic so I thought why am I sitting here listening to this crap. I went directly to buy the book and then quit after the first chapter. I've seen Bringing Out the Drad twice since then and stand by my decision regardless of the soundtrack.

Hook with a few friends and we were all on acid and decided to just go back to the mall.

I walked out of the middle of Twin Town that I was taken to with my friend and his girlfriend. I went out to just smoke a cigarette but was really pissed off they made some anti-american joke or something. I said loudly something like haha that's so funny and then stormed out. I think I just missed about ten minutes.

You could get refunds though. As I vaguely recall I got one for Bringing Out the Dead. You had to leave within 30 minutes or somwthing though. I'm pretty sure I would've gone back in otherwise. I wasnt that pissed off.

>itt times you walked out of a movie
never fully walked out, but

>Pulp Fiction
mom had to take breaks cause of all the swearing and foul language. eventually dad said we were leaving but went back to our seats (nothing else bothered her just the language)

>Toys (1992)
dad hated the film for some reason. pulled the entire family with him but the theater wouldn't give refunds. went back to our seats, he slept through the entirety of the film.
i remember talking with him about films ~10 years ago. Did the normal best films/most enjoyable/yada-yada but he made a point about 'a film from the 90s' that was absolute dogshit and went on a rant that explained nothing about why he didn't like it, just that it was offensive. asked for specifics but just got a repeat of the rant. one of those things i'll never know the answer to.

I just walked out of 28 years later after the opening scene. Its so well done that I felt my need for violence satisfied and it almost made me feel a little dirty. I wikipediaed the rest of the story on the walk home. Doesn't look like I missed much. 30 minutes of trailers and every single one made me want to blow my fucking brains out Jesus christ. The Naked Gun trailer is an abomination. The industrial revolution and it's consequences etc etc

Grew up Mormon, mom thought Nutty Professor was funny and we had it on VHS. She took us (four kids under twelve) to see Nutty Professor 2 and about 10-15 minutes in she stood up and made us walk out and was able to get a refund

i haven't seen the film and don't remember anything about it, so I don't know what joke it was that set her off but it must've been in the first 10-20 mins or so

Back in like 2009 I went to go see "A Christmas Carol" with another young girl from my youth group. Within the first couple of scenes she freaked out and demanded that we leave, then told me this whole story about how she had been possessed but her adoptive parents exorcised her and she was all good now, but seeing ghosts was triggering and might invite the demons back.

Pretty sure she was just making shit up for attention because she was actually adopted and had had a pretty shit life.

I still vividly remember asking my parents if I we could just leave. I don't know how old I was. It was the most boring movie I'd ever seen and nothing like the games. I actually still feel a bit of shame over it because I had asked them to let me go see it.

At least the poster with the "lead actress" in a bikini was good though.

I walk out of movies all the time. My city has a cinema pass, which is a subscription thats about the equivalent of 50 dollars a month, but you get unlimited access to every cinema and movie in the city. So I can just walk out of one theatre and into the next one and all i gotta do is show em my cinema pass. If a movies boring ill just check out the others. Sometimes ill be at the cinema all day until it closes.
