Well, streaming services like Disney Plus are a big reason for that. People are guaranteeing their paychecks so they have very little incentive to produce quality products. The kind of people that work there are now radical left-wing ideologues who only care about pushing their ideology onto children. Parents pay for Disney Plus so they don't have to engage with their children. They can keep making dogshit because they aren't facing enough financial pressure to produce things the public wants to see.

The same thing happens with socialised healthcare. You already pay for the service via taxation so there is zero incentive to provide value for money to the clients. Eventually, it becomes incredibly corrupt and the service falls further and further into disrepair until it's basically unfit for purpose.
