Truly feels like a return to the old MDE/WP, but for 2025.

It just feels pretty low effort especially considering how long it took. There's more in one 11 minute WP episode than all three of these new ones despite being 10x as long. I think the comedy only really flows when every member is present. It just doesn't work with Ruse gone. I think that they also just lost their edge over the years. Sitting in a group of yes men zoomers and rambling on while collecting podcast money hasn't been good for any of them.

You can clearly tell Sam doesn’t really give a fuck about putting anything into this. Each “sketch” is just bloated surface level social commentary with absolutely zero direction or payoff. Every time I see Nick on screen I expect the same riffing. Every time I see Sam he looks bored. Chuck is actually funny and trying. I feel like as another anon said before everyone in production was afraid to say something negative and I think Alex Schultz, as funny as he is on his own and even on the livestream stuff, is not a good fit for MDE. Episode 3 is a huge indicator of all of this. The “time” bit was artsy but overstayed its welcome and was generally black pilled faggotry. I will still support the boys but I’m writing this season off entirely. I really hope they learn from this experience
