The show was simply too lighthearted for our darkhearted times...

It was refreshing to have villains whose only motivation is to be evil and have fun doing it. No gay backstory or lesson to be learned or being misunderstood, they just love doing terrible things.

Season 1 was really funny.
Season 2 was quickly becoming cringe retard shit with all the women characters and his sister becoming a main hero. Same gay homo shit they did with Morty's sister in R&M to escalate that show's plunge into retardation.
You can be sure season 3 would've been absolute garbage.
