Is it worth being an actor anymore? Moving to NY, Chicago, Atlanta, LA to starve and compete? I was a stage actor in middle school and HS, made an effort to do film/tv a couple months before COVID hit lol, and have been back trying it since February. It’s been great. I get around 10-20 auditions a month mostly for leads. I signed a contract with a really nice modeling agency recently. But self tapes blow, it sucks having to build a home studio instead of in person auditions, and most scripts suck. Anyone else in the business of theatre, film, tv, filmmaking, screenwriting wanna share?
