Rose isn't a major character or anything so I could understand changing up her race if a Latina or Asian or whatever gave a great audition. But this girl just constantly gives this bored SSRI stare even when she's video chatting her best friend, finding her long-lost brother, or being told she's going to die and have to live in the dreamworld forever and then having her grandmother show up to be sacrificed in her place.

Why update to modern day? Tons of people have nostalgia for the 80's/90's, the show had tons of retro stylings(eg in the diner), and that way all the WWI/sleeping-sickness era characters wouldn't have to be 120 fucking years old.

Gwendoline Christie was terrible as Lucifer. They were trying to copy Constantine casting Tilda Swinton to play an angel and it just totally flopped.

I know film is a visual medium but I hate how it has to just bash the retarded normies over the head with themes to make sure they understand. EG in the comic when the serial killers' dreams are stolen from them they just look traumatized and shuffle off into the night and we can imagine what happens to them, but in the show they all run outside and immediately confess to the police or shoot themselves.

I thought that on wwas one very bad change too. Very insulting to the intelligenve of the public, tough , to try and be fair, one issue might be the time constraints rather than it being a visual medium. It's hard to create that kind of mood when you don't have a proper time frame to do so.
