I thought Thunderbolts was a mostly good movie with a couple nagging flaws.

I've had a criticism of Disney for a while now that they are a girl company trying to market boy products to girls and it just doesn't work. It makes sense, if you already control the market of girls via disney princess shit, it should have been a no brainer to buy marvel and star wars and then they would have all their bases covered. But the fatal mistake they made was that they assumed the male customers were locked in and would consume any slop they made. And girls were never that into boy stuff anyway so they kind of botched both demographics. Now men think Disney Marvel and Star Wars is gay and cringe, and so do women. Hated by all, loved by none.

What Disney should do is break their film production into two companies. One company markets to the masculine traditional demo, and the other company markets the girl boss feminist stuff. As long as there is some tell, of which demo these are intended for, it will keep fans from becoming haters.

If I go to watch some capeshit, and it's full of trannies and girl bosses I fucking hate it and I'll give it a shit review and tell everyone it sucks. But that's because it's not FOR me, it's for trans niggers. They just marketed it wrong to trick me into watching it when it was only meant to be viewed by trans ni--ers.

Daredevil Born Again was interesting. I feel like they didn't quite have it. It was close. It hits sometimes. The fight with Bullseye is pretty cool and the stakes are real high. They could have done more with Punisher. There was clearly a different version of the show before editing and reshoots. They basically fired everyone and replaced them with new people who only did the last episode which takes a darker tone. So I think the reshoots were trying to make the show more tonally consistent.

I kind of hate the girlfriend character. She's no Ellen Page. And the politics of Fisks administration are kind of meh. I don't think anybody watched Daredevil to see board meetings or press conferences.

I have high hopes for season 2. I am always kind of forgiving with season 1 of a show because many of my favorite shows the Star Trek TNG had really terrible first seasons before they hit their stride.

It's really unfortunate that U.S. Agent had to be in that poorly written trash Falcon & The Winter Soldier. What a shitshow. The writers of that gay trashfire should be flogged to death. Everyone has so much goodwill because Winter Soldier had the sickest hand to hand combat scene in movie history, but this is just hours of bullshit. Therapy sessions. Negro shrimb boats. Who gives a fuck? This shit is unbearable. And the end is just a black dude screaming at a straw man of Donald Trump. It's giga-cringe personified. If you watch it it literally makes your penis fall off and climb up your own ass and start cumming gayly.

They did John Walker dirty. He was killing an enemy combatant which is what soldiers do and he should have been awarded a metal. Obviously the writers are libshits who hate America. The whole show is dripping with antifa energy like the writers are rooting for the terrorist villain because that's who writes this shit. Actual terrorists. Send em to Alligator Alcatraz and feed them to the fattest 6 gators. They deserve to be rolled into meaty pieces.

Going back a bit, I was a fan of Wandavision and Doctor Strange 2. Again they have nagging flaws, sure.. but they are the best in class. I love Sam Raimi as a director and I wish they let him use more of his shock horror, gore comedy in his movie. He got away with some really signature shock gore that surprised me and I appreciate it. I just know if they took the leash off him he could have made that movie 10x sicker than it was. Disney is squeemish though. They want to sell toys to toddler. They can't afford to make the R rated gorefest I want.

Just pretend everything ended after Endgame.

For me the biggest disappointment has been Thor 3 and 4. In Thor Ragnarok, they took several elements of World War Hulk, and used them. We didn't get a proper World War Hulk movie. We got the costume yeah, we got the planet and some of the side characters sure... but we never got, Hulk rampaging and beating the avengers down as the villain in a major movie. It would require Sentry, and they didn't add Sentry until Thunderbolts. So NOW they can do World War Hulk but they already blew half their load in Ragnarok so it's semi redundant now and it doesn't work with Hulk's character arc since they made him professor hulk off screen. It's fucked.
And Thor 4, which could have been the best Marvel movie. It had Christian Bale, one of the greatest comic book actors of our generation, playing Gorr the god-butcher. A villain on a scale so epic that it could have been truly amazing. It should have climaxed with a trio of time displaced Thor's from his 3 ages: young brash Thor, Current Thor, and Odin-force Thor from his old age in the future. 3 Thor's vs Christian Bale Gorr, should have been the coolest thing that has ever happened, or will ever happen.

Instead it was a Taika Watitties movie with a lot of subversive crude humor and ironic characters who don't take it seriously, and then a shoehorned love story and kids movie that don't fit the tone and take up precious time real estate from a better film.

The Skrull Invasion was a great opportunity to do a bunch of interesting spy-thriller stuff. Shapeshifters who can infiltrate governments, creates a lot of interesting scenarios for a super-spy like Nick Fury to contend with. There is a little taste of the spy-thriller stuff in the first episode. I do think it's sort of absurd that they made Sam Jackson fuck an alien. I don't think that was in the comics. In the comics there were a lot more superheroes involved and the Skrull had replaced important characters. It was a shocking twist.

I think the showrunners actually had a hard job making this show. I cut them some slack. If I was in charge of that show, I would have hired on all the people I could get from Agent's of Shield, and I'd maybe get some B and C tier heroes and a bunch of cheap young actors and actresses to play them, just to have the comic books vibe of a bunch of superheroes trying to figure out who is the secret Skrull. I also think to do it right in live action, you probably have to try to make it somewhat like one of the old war of the worlds or invasion of the body snatchers shows, where it's got horror paranoia elements instead of a super heroic vibe.
