First off, you're ignorant. Club Fed is a nickname for being in a federal prison, not a state prison.
Manslaughter DUI is still considered a violent offense, and California prisons are overflowing, so all of the lower classifications get filled up first, and there are instances where people who don't qualify for a maximum security, will get over ridden, and sent to whatever facility they deem necessary.
