Is the golden age of TV really over?

Apparently it ended in 2023 and started at some point in the early 2000’s (you’d think late 90’s since that’s when sopranos started but I guess not)

the golden age of television ended when Lost did

That's just some bullshit an executive came up with to try and pad their resume with. That era of tv was simply cable stations pouring money into exclusive programming to try and hold on to cable/satellite subscribers. They knew the internet was going to keep eating away at the market share so they had to try and make something unique to hold on to the audience they had. They're doing the same thing now with streaming services. Oh you can only see that on this service, subscribe today!

TV overall is over....it's all about streaming

Golden Age of entertainment has been over since 9/11.

Once the dusted settled with Bush Jr.s 100th Mission Accomplished speech. Everyone just looked to youtube more for their 'news'. Then social media became more of a thing. The tech-oligarchy rose,... as well as Woke-Shit DEI slop....

..it kind of took the fun out of watching TV for the sake of it.
