There really shouldn't have been room for a part 3 it would have been way more kino if her sacrifice had actually been a sacrifice but as long as she's alive I guess I might be able to come up with something.
I think M3GAN herself should be somewhat more of a hacker in a third movie like Amelia was, also give her some humans to kill, even in the poster you posted she's got blood on her.
It's tempting to say send M3GAN to space but that seems kind of cheap, at the very least some sort of humans can't go there environment.

They already referenced Robocop and Terminator in the first 2 movies and I don't think this world is dystopian enough to push a M3gan model for law enforcement, they have proven to be too powerful, rebel against their masters real quick, and are publicly known as threats. Heck Am3lie, built with American tech, killed the Chinese ambassador, which is a potential WWIII trigger even without the stuff they brought up about M3gan's tech starting an arms race.

By Robocop reference I mostly meant the pen scanning scene at the beginning of the first movie, which should have been intentional. I think the difference is, the M3gan tech was intended as kids stuff before spiralling into a murder spree (including a kid and a dog, even if they were assholes), killing a foreign dignitary, and M3gan pulling a gun in the middle of a crowd.

The corrupt, sleazy guys behind Am3lie are the closest to OCP but they still operated in the shadows because there's no public angle to push here. There's still AI helpers because that can't be avoided, and Gemma's speech at the end is all about adapting to them. So I think the Matrix route is really plausible.
