It was better than John Wick 4 but 4 was terrible. I could not look past the absurdity of that one dude and his dog. Just pure schlock. As for Ballerina, many scenes show their age. You can tell it was 2.5 years delayed. Bottom line the movie sucked.

It was okay. I like Ana, though I think she could've used more training overall. The cult part was stupid as shit and they still haven't learned more story isn't more better. The original John Wick is still the best movie simply due to the tight pacing and proper focus. The story is set up well, it's simple and does exactly what it needs to to drive the characters forward.

paradoxically the movie would have been improved by overdoing more. John Wick was all about old laconic killers getting the better of impulsive youngsters. and now they want to reverse everything and have an extremely plain 20-year-old with no experience as the protagonist with no other explanation to her abilities than "she was trained".

I literally just watched it an hour ago. I really liked it. It's pretty much just a straight 2 hour non-stop gun-fight. The fighting choreography was really good. I favourite segment was the grenade sequence.

Flamethrower scene almost ruined the entire film.
Otherwise, significantly better than the JW sequels. Best JW since the first film but still a very dumb action film that relies on plot armour.

I just can't take female action stars seriously

it is an absolutely unneeded and meaningless movie.
I found no reason to care about anything that was happening. the action is never interesting, even if they tried to come up with new gimmicks.
the CGI to hide Ana's double's face is terrible in almost every frame it's used.
Wick is there just to so maybe someone will watch this movie just to see him shoot some more people. as if John Wick 4 wasn't 50 hours of action with no meaning already.
also, the villains are...dun dun dun...white german families.
and the ugly mutt kid? literally inevitable in kike propaganda nowadays. an old white man has a white son who has a black muttoid daughter. obviously, right? because the old man is EVIL and his race mixing son is GOOD.

There were a lot of badguys that got shot in the chest and legs before they died which was a lot more interesting to watch than in the regular films where the guns are basically ineffective pea shooters
