The first concert I went to with my own money was Panic at the Disco when I was 18. I went with a cute emo girl who had tickets on facebook and had posted that she needed someone to drive her. that’s because there was supposed to be a transition album that got scrapped entirely called “cricket and clover.” Ideally speaking, it was supposed to be the in-between their first and pretty odd. You can hear some vague snippets of it online with one of the tracks (nearly witches) making it into panic’s first post ryan album.

I could be getting some details wrong but there’s tons of conflicting information on the scrapped album.

Panic at the disco is the only brief moment of clarity where I get transported back to 2004, where I am playing WoW vanilla for the first time, I'm in high school driving my Dodge Durango 98 in the corn fields in Iowa, and emo kids hanging out at the Shake Shack then going home to play playing GameCube (eventually Wii 3 years later) was enough to pass the time socially
