i haven't watched rocky 4 (in which drago shows up, rock 3 is clubber lang), but i've seen some scenes and it does resemble the soviet boxing style, modern "soviet style" boxers don't look the same way anymore, the closest one is usyk with the pendulum stepping. the movies are very well researched in my opinion, its just that showing realistic fights in movies is almost impossible. the most realistic boxing i've seen is in Raging Bull.
