RIP in peace... the X-Files theme has to be one of if not the most iconic tv show themes of all time.

I was hoping that he could still return for Coogler's show. Mark Snow's music was a huge part of The X-File's moody atmosphere (at least for the first 5-6 seasons). I thought his stuff for the revival was weak, but after hearing the tracks isolated, the music was ok. It's just that in the newest episodes you can't appreciate the score, because there's always someone talking, and the sound mix buried the music (unlike in the original seasons).

With some other composer doing the new X-Files, I don't know, I guess it's another reason not to bother checking it out.
