I am 45 years old. I know what it is. It's been around most of my life and it's lame as hell. Fans of it are nerds. I've just absorbed it through osmosis simply by being alive and watching TV over the years. I tried watching the movies and they sucked. The show sucked. Just because I'm aware of the Queen song doesn't mean I'm a fan of the "franchise".

Just sad that they'll throw a hundred million dollar budget at something simply because people are somewhat familiar with it. There's NO evidence that the world wants another Highlander movie or any kind of fucking 'extended universe'.

Doesn't anyone else have a problem with this? Don't we want ORIGINAL stories? I'm tired of established 'IP'. So tired of it.
