Yeah writing was pretty weak desu. Blud's plan to get the vault open was just to get a hundred monkeys hauling on it for a few seconds once a day? And then it's like "we'll try again tomorrow, same time same place"

I really enjoyed the first three films but I fell asleep for a bit watching this one.

Nothing beats the original Caesar. He wasn't a pandering liberal pacifist. He was a tactical genius who sought to undermine the humans. In the nu-Ape franchise, you could compare him to Koba.

Should have had the girl in a buckskin bikini like the original movie. The moment she came on the screen it gave the entire plot away, as you knew she was a smart talking human from a survivor group somewhere.

I think the girl succumbs to the retarded human virus in the end and that she knew this would happen but volunteered anyway to save the survivor humans.

I really hate that the general populace seems to consider this "the fourth movie" and "the best" of the recent Apes movies. I haven't seen it because it's a Disneyslop cashgrab but people seem to like it
