I recently gave it a shot and hated it. All the sketches I've seen referenced the most are all actually awful and go at least twice as long as they should. Everything else is even worse.

only the first season is worthwhile. many such cases

I think it's very funny for the most part. Some sketches are duds, though.

Yes. Eggman was a great sketch. I think I liked it because of the multiple layers of weirdness, it wasn't just Tim being wacky by himself (and he was relatively calm throughout it anyways).

My friend loves it and I don't know why. There will occassionally be a soft chuckle worthy joke but it's rare. It feels like the kind of thing no one actually likes but everyone is pretending to for some reason.

All the good ones from the 90s, people acting like this unfunny shitte can touch Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, UCB, Exit 57 or The State (and so on) are insane.

I don't understand why this show filters /tv/ so much. it's one of the very few genuinely funny modern shows and Tim isn't even jewish. it's like people here can't allow themselves to have fun anymore. everything has to be le serious or wrapped in several layers of irony, so something that is just unapologetically silly gets derided.

Like every sketch show it's hit and miss. Some of it is fun, some of it is just people making silly faces and being loud.
But it does have some really great ones, like the Bob Odenkirk one in the diner.
