When a new incumbent steps into a greenlight role they normally bin anything their predecessor commissioned, knowing they'll get no credit for it if it does well, and the blame if it tanks. Depends how far along it is really, and not a priority property for Amazon.
Games Workshop have been making money hand over fist since lockdown and don't actually need the exposure either. The show feels like too much of a risk vs reward for them at the moment as it could sink their brand if it turns out to be terrible (something they have no control over)
