Very often, I see scenes where a woman hits a man, and it's treated as comedy or justified (things like the tsundere trope, for example). I'm okay with that; after all, it's just fiction and not real. But I wish I could also see more scenes where men hit women, and it's not treated as a super serious moment where the man is in the wrong.

Cannot think of a lot of non-anime examples. Hitting women is very taboo in western culture and is almost always taken seriously.
