It should be watched at least once all the way through. First 3 seasons are good, last 3 seasons are convoluted and over written, but it defined a genre that television likes to drag back up every know and then, see yellowjackets or from. If youโ€™ve seen Lost youโ€™ve seen them all. This is why itโ€™s necessary watching.

But i do think its one of the best shows i ever saw, it's not even the story. It's how they tell the story. Kinda like Adolescence

I really don't think Yellowjackets is all that similar to Lost, outside of "people get stranded after a plane crash", but that predates Lost.
From is obviously similar since it has a lot of the same people working on it. I think we need more stupid "mystery" shows where the writers clearly don't have a plan, it's an important part of our ecosystem.

I really have to rewatch X files, but the show dragged on too long. I think fringe is a better watch.
Breaking bad I stopped at about season3 or something. Everyone says how brilliant it was I could t really get I to it. But I appreciate it has it's fans so I will try and go back and finish it.
Lindelof does amazing TV work. The leftovers is for me I think also in my top 20

It canโ€™t be considered the best show because itโ€™s a bunch of red herrings to keep people interested. LOST is like an old soap opera where each episode must end with a cliff hanger to keep folks tuning in next week to find out who really is the smoke monster.

Nah. There's a ton of shows that are better. What LOST excelled at was the discussions around the mysteries that happened every week after a new episode, or between seasons. No other show except The X-Files had as much speculation and interest in the worldbuilding. Which is why I never suggest anyone should watch it, because it simply won't be as good to just marathon it on Netflix. Doing that is missing a key component of what made the experience so great. Zoomers will simply never know.
