It's actually pretty bad. A generous 5-6/10 and a more realistic 4/10.

It is not as good as the other apatow-style comedies like 40 Year Old Virgin or Knocked Up. But it is absolutely, significantly better than films like This Is 40 and Funny People. I understand a chud board like this wouldn't have any nuance in their opinions on films with women.

Wiig is bogged as fuck now, Ellie and Rose lookin old and walled and Maya today lookin as fat as haggard and Melissa back then. Wendi doesnt seem to age, still looks the same as she did when Reno 911 started (her new show is pretty good)

Its been over a decade since I saw it, but I remember going in thinking it was going to be "Hangover but girls, and just as raunchy!". I pleasantly surprised when it wasn't. Just a decent romcom with some off color jokes. I enjoyed it. It was a lot better than a ton of other trash that came out in that post hangover period.

For some reason, when comedy movies were a thing, they felt they could push humorous character actors into lead roles and it failed almost every time. For decades.

Jewish producers. But this isn't even about diversity or that. For some reason, starting back to making SNL characters into a full movie people had the idea "Hey people love this 5 minute bit, we can make that a movie." Or "People love this actor as a side character in all these comedies, surely they can carry a lead and we can pay them less" and it never works. Its why Sandler throws a bone to all his friends who went that route. Even Chris Rock, a fantastic comedian can't carry a comedy film.
