I had a brother like this and it's possible to regain their sanity. There's hope. Understand the root of what is causing her disassociation; why/what does she create a paranoid delusional fantasy seemingly to protect her psych from? Psychosis is ironically often a defense mechanism much like a hot fever is to kill off pathogens; self-medication is usually the #1 sign that someone is suffering something internally.
