part of the lore was explained and it sucks donkey balls. they will rely on timetravel shennanigans to resolve some plot points and that's going to be the death rattle.

also, how on earth would a japanese witch exist in the US circa 1500 and a community willing to sacrifice their children to gain immortality? also, how the fuck would whole modernish buildings exist in that place since it seems to isolate people passing through?

I remember that one autistic anon that was calling people zoomers for not paying attention and saying the show explained Boyds hand illness was cured, but then in a few episodes gets it again and it turned out it never went away. He never posted again lmao

The jap witch, idk what they were thinking.

Regarding the buildings, if the entity can make them immortal why can't it make buildings, or maybe it displaced the original town.

Absolutely love From. It's not simplistic linear plot driven cinema (TV drama), it's immersive mood and atmosphere cinema like its parent, the great groundbreaking inimitable Lost. Literal questions and answers is the wrong approach to such cinema. It's immersing yourself in the mood at any moment on the screen, living the emotions along with the characters in "real time" as it were: dread, fear, uncertainty, joy. disappointment etc. Isn't that what our real lives feel like? Is life tied up neatly in a package with a red bow on top just like a Christmas present?

I love From for this: it's an utterly authentic metaphor for how a lived life feels.

Can't wait for S4.
