Now that the dust has settled, what did we really think about Anora? How do you feel about Sean Baker in general? Florida Project seems to be highly regarded here.

>For Anora, Sean Baker has stated that his intentions were to "help remove the stigma that's been applied to sex work, that's always been applied to this livelihood." Andrea Werhun, a Canadian writer and actress best known for her 2018 memoir Modern Whore about her prior time as a sex worker, served as a creative consultant on the film.

I fucking loved it and saw it three times.
one of the few really good recent movies that felt like it was set in a recognizable version of reality. Psycho Therapy was good too, but less grounded.

It just goes to show you how far the basics can take you.

The movie is retarded.
The director is a retard.

All you have to do is cast the most ludicrously hot actress and your work is done. Like compared to the main chick, megan fox at her prime looks like a 2/10. Everything about her, her tits, her facial expressions, her lips, her voice, everything is pure sex. I could watch her do anything, in anything, she is so fucking sensual.

That's it. All you need is beauty. It is enough on its own.
