He was never funny

Here we are again, right wing internet losers seething over 30 year old comedy acts by a long dead comedian. Carlin was funny. I know what he says gets your panties in a bunch, but the essence of comedy is pretty simple - Carlin had good timing. Some of his material is certainly dated, and tiresome, but when he goes off on people, few could do it better.

They're shit parodies because the person writing them is too full of seething rage to actually parody someone in a funny way.
It's the same reason the 10,000th SNL Trump parody is never funny, because they hate him too much to actually get inside his character and understand how he works which is what someone has to do to make a parody funny. honestly, I can't stand stand up! but seriously folks, am I the only one who prefers unscripted comedy over stage acts? the only guy I liked on stage was Hedberg because he just did rapid fire jokes with almost not political or personal slant. even an A class comedian like Colin Quinn is way funnier just busting balls on a radio show.

Probably Marc Maron. He is the only stand up comedian I am aware of who has never told a joke.
