The drama around Superman reminds me that in September next year we're getting the third Resident Evil reboot in five years, and it's exactly the same kind of "polarizing auteur who kinda fell off vs massively overhyped Reddit director" dynamic. Even if the trailer looks mid as fuck people will desperately try to hype it up.
