That seemed so unviolent. The originals weren't R but their kill scenes were still great and effective.

you cannot capture shit like that in a realistic setting.
director wanted it filmed in a single frame, and thats how you set it up.

If that's the logic that got you to "wow I can't take this movie movie-ing" then you should of walked out at the start when the disinfectant room had negative pressure rather than positive pressure. You'd want to be pumping clean air in rather than letting dirty air in. That would mean they wouldn't have to take into account candy wrappers if they didn't get a retarded HVAC guy.
But movie gotta movie. It was fun at least, liked climax.

The gore in this movie was disappointing. I don’t know why it couldn’t be on the level of Terrifier 3 for example. They’re almost the same genre. There’s so much potential for gore and carnage and you get nothing.

Because these movies are literally toy commercials for children and man-children.

I am legit serious. They had commercials for JW Domion on Cartoon Network LONG after the movie left theaters.

These movies can’t be gory because that would get them an R-rating and that would mean less kiddies at the theater.
And the kills can’t be too gory or it will give kids nightmares. As such, most of these kills in these are just humans being vored (not chewed up or split in half) or being tackled by raptors.

There's something deeply unsettling about watching someone get eaten alive. It taps into that primal fear we have buried within us that we forget, until nature reminds us.

Even tho the original JP trilogy wasnt too graphic, it still showed enough that it still sticks with me. I think the biggest thing that helped sell the scenes was the sounds. Moldoon screaming in JP1, the bones crunching followed by the blood waterfall in JP2. The sound of Eddie's spine crack as he's split in half in JP2. Even in JP3 the guy yelling and the sound of the Spinos jaw snap on him

Unrelated to the specific OP webm but I dislike how the dinosaurs are behaving more and more like monsters rather than animals. Well, I think it'd be ok with some sci-fi explanation as to why the dinosaurs are so intent on killing the humans specifically, but I don't think any's really been given.
