Man it's been a long strange trip since 2010. I think the regime really, really doubled down on this "civilizational change" thing they're going for, I think it's almost a century-old project now. I don't think they can turn in time. Look at their actual attempts to coopt it: "woke right" etc. Just embarrassing. They really are baffled by what's going on.

I think they actually thought immigrants and other undesirables would integrate more if you just gave them iPhones and movies, basically 90s liberalism and consumerism but broadened. 90s/00s white culture was tolerant enough that it would have tolerated slow dilution with nonwhites as long as it still felt like 90s/00s culture. It was working for a while, especially around 2010 it still felt like it was going to work. The anarchotyranny was supposed to be subtler and more systemic. Instead, I think the regime underestimated just how burdensome the immigrants and misc. degenerates would be, just how useless, just how obnoxious. It was too much too fast, with too little integration.

Another thing I think they underestimated is that the bread and circuses of the 90s/00s was still riding on the back of competent white people, white people who aren't diluted and distracted by nonwhite nonsense. That's WHY it was such good bread and circuses. But by 2010, you start to see the system running out of things to cannibalize and pound into prolefeed. Even the residual whites who wanted to just stay on the prolefeed were like "why is the prolefeed so bad lately?" around 2015.

In hindsight it's like watching a physics simulation play out. Everything makes perfect sense. I really don't think the elites know what to do. The system is getting brittle. The best comparison I've seen is late Soviet: everyone knows it's a farce and it's going to fall apart but no one knows how it's going to happen so they keep going to work.

Outside of agitprop slop aimed at minorities, art, if you want to count movies as art, is usually not derived from one single source. Saying everything is about THIS exact thing is too reductive. I don't doubt that things like that play into it but I don't buy this monocausality. Breaking Bad, to take one of his videos, might speak to white disenfranchisement but it's also fundamentally a character story.

the viewer decides what meaning a movie does or doesn't have, and this is how a good or bad movie is distinguished. bad movies force you to take away one message and nothing else, they are not subtle, they do not have any merit in creation and are only made to preach to the audience. i love a lot of movies that probably have some sort of subversive messaging in them according to this guy. and if there is merit to his claims, it doesnt mean i suddenly hate the movies. but for a culture to be taken seriously it should seriously address this problem of having racially subversive messaging, if that is what this guy is claiming.
