If illegal immigrants were like Superman I don’t think people would have a problem with them. Instead they don’t pay taxes and drive up ours. They don’t have insurance and drive up ours. They drive up real estate prices and rent. They drive down wages. They are literally a burden and drain on society. And especially in this day and age when we are going to experience a boom in automation and AI (we aren’t even close to the level used in east Asia) the last thing we need is more illegals immigrants who will be the first group to lose their jobs en masse, and then when that happens they’ll will become an even bigger drain and burden on society.
