Assuming they don’t reuse any games red light green light and squid game they could do one round with a field day game(s) like a sack or three legged race, some type of relay race, the parachute game, etc. One round could be floor is lava. One round could be cold and robbers/man hunt/capture the flag. One could be jacks or go fish or some other type of kids card game. There’s duck dick goose. Tag, hop scotch, foursquare, dodge ball, red rover. Maybe they dont want to reuse hide and seek or jump rope, but they could do double Dutch or kick the can. There are so many games. And the last game will be squid game, but with a another type of variation, I think a version incorporating capture the flag could work.

The Korean show explored the themes a lot, so I don't think the US show should bother as there is nothing new to say. They can reinvent the wheel so to speak, change how eliminations occur, how games work and are structured.

Well considering s3 ended with any real conclusion, there's a fair amount of story left to tell. In terms of actual themes though, there are lots of ways to expand on the basic humanity vs greed.
In s2/3 they added voting dynamics and democracy into the mix. They haven't yet dealt with an inspiring idealist leader, intentionally sinking a social revolution through artificial insertion of "bad eggs", corruption by the idealists when they get any sort of power, stockholm syndrome and the desire to be kept down in the system, and social dynamics between the guards and prisoners. That's just off the top of my head

You could argue S2/3 dealt with the inspiring leader and bad eggs as Gi-hun's rebellion failed because of In-ho but sure, there are lot of political and philosophical directions to go. If they are making it I hope they don't feel chained to the Korean original and try something a bit different. Also more than anything I want some nuance, layers to characters and concepts. The tranny in S2+3 would have been horrendous in the American version but was actually a decent character in the Korean show.
