I can't imagine that they even need that much motivation. I feel like people killed people all the time back then for any reason. Also, Daniel asked him another question about their childhood home and Benny couldn't answer it either so then he straight admitted to being an imposter. It also seemed likely that he killed the real Henry and stole his identity after hearing his story and wanting to leechmax off of Daniel.
