Rebirth is fucking awful; it fails to even be an entertaining rollercoaster ride, because the pacing is incredibly slow, the scenarios are contrived and uninspired, and the visuals are poorly composed and edited. Just as one example, there's a painfully retarded scene where a family tries to slowly paddle a raft down a calm, almost completely still, river to escape from a T-rex. It flips the raft, and in the next shot the river is moving rapidly and everyone gets carried away by the current.
There's no cohesion, the craft of filmmaking is completely absent. Music is shoehorned in where it isn't appropriate. I know this accusation gets thrown around a lot nowadays, but I'm 90% sure Rebirth was largely written by an LLM. It's so disjointed, uninspired, and completely without soul.
