Was M3gan flying in M3gan 2.0 actually supposed to be real within the universe of the movie? The more I think about it I am seeing signs that maybe the M3gan world is supposed to take place in a Matrix like simulation and that's what they were subtly hinting at and building to. The movies seem to have "AI glitches" and stretch the boundaries of believability in a way that could support the simulation theory.

I know that the whole "media literacy" thing has turned into kind of a joke but it also blows my mind that there are people like you who just interact with media on a completely surface level basis. Like that kind of situation is exactly what is being warned about with deep fakes and movies like AfrAId, which is also probably not so coincidentally also owned by Blumhouse. Like it's just the kind of person would could be shown something by Aiya and they would never even question it. So between the "glitches" people are finding in the movie and what Blumhouse could stand to gain by bringing the M3gan and AfrAId series together, sorry but you're just gonna have to excuse the fact that other people are going to be seeing the possibilities and asking questions.
