The Star Wars universe has different physical and natural laws than ours, even though it appears very much the same.
Aerodynamic flight is possible without aerodynamic surfaces. Very large spaceships can even hover in atmosphere. Also the vacuum of space is non lethal, you can quite safely walk, run and have a laser gun fight on the surface of a spaceship without the need for a spacesuit.
