Why does /tv/ hate this show?

It's mediocre existentialism slop. The characters are kinda cute, and that's what's carrying the show.

Its fans are almost all smelly autistic weirdos, of which I am not one.

It's fine I guess, but I couldn't even be bothered to finish the last episode. Part of me hates this modern trend of "adult cartoons" which are geared entirely towards adults, rather than towards kids, with subtle things adults would pick up on. Having the characters censor-curse and say blatantly adult things is pretty cringe.

But this is geared towards Star Wars-loving nerds and their quirk chungus gfs, and is made by a literal tranny, so I'm really not surprised it's turned out the way it has.

Pure contrarianism. It's popular so /tv/ has to vocally state how much they hate it. If it was some small indie project with like 20k views per episode, it would get praised as pure kino. The actual content doesn't matter, people here are just kneejerk contrarians.

It has a variety of characters who react to misery differently, so each person has someone to relate to. Of course, that means there are characters that you will dislike, which for the average anon means that the show is complete garbage.

I’ve watched it I really can’t for the life of me understand how it has such a huge fandom, like tens of millions of views per episode?? It’s pretty good but this shit has like 5 episodes, it really just goes to show that people into animation these days are mentally ill they will take any idea of a fantasy world and go totally off the rails with it I think it’s because of their own dissociation with the real world as well as autism or something. Like the show is good, but not like I’m going to dedicate my life to it good and obsess over these characters that have, at this point, like 12 minutes of total screen time.
